In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxFolsom High School Youth, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxFolsom High School Youth event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

About the TEDxFolsom High School Youth 2025

The event features the theme "Explore" where the speakers will share there stories of exploration from many different aspects of their lives.  The speakers are encouraged to be mindful of the overall balance of the program, including a wide-range of ideas. The proposed talk ideas will be diverse in nature. 

TEDxFolsom High School Youth will be the second TEDx Youth event at Folsom High: "Explore:" The speakers are ready to explore their unique ideas and bring out their stories to mesmerize you on various topics. They are prepared to bring change to the community, to spread their ideas effectively, and to motivate you. The event's purpose is also to give high school students a platform to express their ideas and gain significant speaking experience. They are more than ready to tell their tales of exploration.

Student volunteers and teachers are eager to make this event memorable so that future FHS students are encouraged to participate and take charge in the future. Prepare to explore your emotions and be enthralled with entertaining talks and performances!
