Hana Haque is a member of the Class of 2026 at Folsom High School. She is a fierce proponent of community service and holds regular book drives and voter registration drives in her school. She works at Rhizome which is involved with increasing democratic participation among youth, and with CAIR which is a civil rights advocacy group active all over the country. Last year, she was a Speaker for TEDxFolsomHighSchool 2024 and spoke about living up to your potential in her TEDTalk. Despite her busy schedule, she is an avid reader and spends her free time with her friends painting, drawing, or just making new memories. Hana chose to take on organizing  TEDxFolsomHigh 2025 in order to create a platform where students and members of the community could spread their new ideas with others.

Mr. Castro is the current activities director and a social science teacher at Folsom High School.  He has been an educator for 21 years and has taught multiple subjects including history, government, economics, psychology, leadership and film.  He is very excited to work with this amazing group of students to bring TEDx Youth to Folsom High.
